University of Nottingham - Continental Cafes

The project at Nottingham University was to make improvements to what was a 1980's student bar area to create a state of the art continental café with two portal frame conservatories with solar glass to double the capacity of the bars: fitted with bespoke stone-look bars, 6 metre jumbrellas in the area outside. Air conditioning and new flooring were also fitted with wenge panelling and Italian tiles to give the cafes a modern yet classic look.



Jigsaw Insurance Marketing Ltd

Jigsaw is based within a traditional 100 year plus city centre building. Two floors of the building were totally refitted from a complete shell to provide space for 400 telesales staff. The refit was to a high standard and comprised everything from the building and joinery work, installation of suspended ceilings, air conditioning, electrical data points to the bespoke glass partitioning and office furniture.



ClinPhone Ltd

We have delivered a number of projects for ClinPhone Ltd and have watched them grow from a company employing 53 staff to over 300. In view of the growth of the company, more work space was required for ClinPhone's staff. This was utilised by transforming old warehouse space to a high standard Clinical Technology Centre.




University of Nottingham - Biology Building Toilet Block

The existing toilet accommodation on the ground floor of the Biology Building was clean and presentable however the construction remained as built in 1953 and was therefore identified as being in need of modernisation.

Various layout amendments were considered however in order to prevent alterations to the existing below ground drainage it was

University of Nottingham - Sustainable Research Building - B & C Floor Postgraduate Offices

The Postgraduate Office space on B&C floor of the Sustainable Research Building was largely as designed and built in 2003. The original intention was to create a low maintenance building using sustainable materials.

Whilst not particularly old the space had been well used and therefore looked in need of refurbishment. The School of The Built Environment had been transferred into the faculty of Engineering and the space therefore required minor alterations to ensure it suited the user’s current needs.

One of the user’s key requirements was to improve the quality of light in the office area. Due to one glazed elevation being significantly shaded by mature trees, natural light was only entering the space from the opposing elevation, there was also an exposed concrete soffit that formed the
